Bridging The Digital Divide, One Skill At A Time
Our goal is to raise a generation of confident, adaptable people who never stop learning, growing and mastering new skills, equipped to thrive in the future of work and become experts in their fields.
Our Mission
To empower humanity by breaking down barriers to technology and creating equal opportunities for young people from underserved communities to learn, grow, and thrive in the digital world.
Our Vision
We are building a world where technology is accessible, education empowers, and every person has what they need to create lasting impact in their own life, and in their community's.
What Guides Every Program We Run
Although each of our projects serves a different audience, they all share one purpose: to use technology as a catalyst for education, empowerment, innovation, and sustainable community development.
Whether we're working with churches, schools, or local communities, our commitment remains the same to equip people with the knowledge, digital skills, and opportunities they need to build brighter futures and stronger communities.

“These values show up in the room, not just the brochure.”

Our Core Values
Eight commitments that shape how we design a curriculum and how we show up in the communities we serve.
Faith
The quiet strength that keeps us steady when the work is slow.
Excellence
Doing it well, because the people we serve deserve nothing less.
Integrity
Honest, reliable, and always for the good of others in how we operate and how we account for what's entrusted to us.
Innovation
Meeting old problems with new tools, and never settling for ‘this is how it’s always been done.’
Service
Showing up for people, made into a daily way of working.
Collaboration
No single organisation closes a gap this wide alone.
Inclusion
Everyone means everyone youth, elders, women, and entire neighbourhoods.
Sustainability
Building things that outlast us.
Through our signature projects, Lisa Chukwu Initiative envisions communities where technology is accessible, education is empowering, and every person has what they need to create lasting impact.
A Question That Became a Promise
The Lisa Chukwu Initiative didn't start with a business plan. It started with a childhood question and it's still being answered, one school at a time.
The QuestionWhere it began — Port Harcourt
“What if someone had introduced me to technology much earlier?”
I grew up in a developing community in Port Harcourt, Nigeria, the daughter of parents who raised eight children on limited resources and limitless determination. They believed education was the greatest gift they could give us, and they worked relentlessly so each of us could have opportunities they never had. Growing up in a home full of love, faith, and discipline taught me a principle I still live by: to whom much is given, much is expected.

Growing upA childhood fascination
A Fascination That Wouldn't Let Go
As a child I loved computers technology fascinated me. But fascination didn't make the journey easy. Learning it was hard, full of frustration and moments of feeling behind. One thought never left me: if I'd been exposed to technology earlier, how much further could I have gone? That thought never became regret. It became purpose I realised there were children just like me, curious and capable, simply without the exposure to discover what they could become.

The Purpose Found a Name
While enrolling in my very first Data Science training programme, that purpose finally found a name. I made the decision to invest in myself before asking anyone else to believe in the vision I knew that if I wanted to help others grow, I first had to grow myself. You cannot pour from an empty cup.

Quietly Preparing
The vision was born in 2021, but it stayed quietly in my heart for years after. I kept learning. I kept building my career. I kept preparing. Deep down, I knew that one day I'd create something bigger than myself I just hadn't stopped waiting for the perfect time yet.

The Silence That Changed Everything
I stopped waiting and began with whatever I had, as The Lispire Foundation. Alongside a handful of volunteers, mostly my siblings, we visited a local school for our first outreach. We asked who'd heard of cybersecurity. Silence. Data science? More silence. Artificial intelligence? Almost no hands. Then we learned the school didn't even have a computer teacher. It wasn't a lack of intelligence, or ambition. It was a lack of exposure. I left carrying more than memories I left carrying responsibility.

The Vision Becomes Official
That outreach confirmed what had been growing in me since 2021: this work needed structure, longevity, an organisation that could build partnerships and reach communities consistently. On 17 December 2025, it became official The Lispire Foundation was formally registered as an NGO, and evolved into the Lisa Chukwu Initiative, open to everyone who wanted to be part of something bigger than one person.

A Promise Fulfilled
Today, the Lisa Chukwu Initiative exists to bridge the gap between potential and opportunity through technology education, digital literacy, STEM, mentorship, and community outreach. One conversation can change a mindset. One workshop can ignite curiosity. One mentor can change a life. Every child we reach reminds me of what my parents invested in me and this is my way of honouring that legacy. This is more than an organisation. It's a promise fulfilled and we believe it's only the beginning.
